Involve Me and I Learn...History

My Project

I love that my students from our rural, low-income community crave the hands-on interactive lessons and activities which a tablet will provide. These hardworking students will get lessons that they will collaboratively learn to develop a constitution, design cause, and effect charts for the Vietnam War, dissect maps of westward expansion, debate the Articles of Confederation, and interpret the writings of the Harlem Renaissance.

My students will get to problem-solve and evaluate together.

The Samsung Galaxy tablet will teach social skills and teamwork along with the history, geography, and civics of the lesson.

As Ben Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." With the Galaxy Tablet and accessories, they will be involved and they will learn.
