My Students

My students are hardworking, respectful students who are eager to learn and contribute to their community! Because I teach in a rural, underprivileged area, many of my students do not have the financial resources available to purchase the technology they need to help them become members of our global community. My school prides itself on providing students with values that will make them contributing members of their society. With your help, our students can be contributing members of a global community!

My Project

My students will use Chromebooks to research important topics in social science, visit sites around the world, and interact with members of different cultures. The opportunities are endless!

I will set up individualized learning centers around my classroom for my students to collaboratively use their chromebooks for group projects.

My senior government students may research topics as though they were at the Library of Congress. My United States history students could explore a Revolutionary War battlefield. I would love for my world history students to Skype with a class from a country we are studying. I have so many ideas for group projects that will hopefully inspire my students to be in charge of their own learning through historical inquiry!
