This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Ms. Aguirre. I am a Media Specialist at an Elementary School. I see my students for 30 minutes once a week and would like to make the lessons more engaging.

By donating to my project you will help my students with a chance to learn through innovative technology that was previously unavailable to them.

This school year my students returned back from online learning and it seems like they are more excited and eager to learn. I want to take advantage of this time and expand students' creativity.

Our school is located in a border town. The majority of the students come from low income families and have limited resources. I believe my students will benefit from having a 3D printer because they will be able to hold and physically see the ideas that they visualize in their minds! In order for them to print something it will take a lot of thinking and confidence to pursue more challenging courses in the future.
