I teach my students that hard work and perseverance pay off. They are focused, determined, and have learned to be responsible citizens of the classroom and I couldn't be more proud of them.
I am a proud teacher of a group of Gifted and Talented students who love a challenge. I want to raise the bar, help them reach their full potential, and spark that imagination and love of learning inside them. With the right tools, who's to say that a future president, astronaut, or Nobel Prize winner isn't sitting in my classroom right now?
My Project
3D printing changes the way students learn. Through the use of 3D printing, students will be able to create prototypes and art projects right in the classroom!
3D printers allow students to use mathematical thinking, design, complex science, engineering and technology principles in building their design.
Students can then visualize and analyze their work in the most effective manner, hands on!
3D printers have made a huge impact in the world science and research and give students a look at real word jobs through STEM learning.
In addition, the teacher can also use the printer to show students models and engage students in learning. Much more exciting than a textbook!
