My Students

My students are majority Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders.

The communities that our students come from communities that are considered Low Socio-Economic Status.

I feel that our students are mentally tough, they come to school ready to work. They are a little rough around the edges but once you show them that as a teacher you are there for them. They will do anything for you. Many of them come from a rough and tough home. Our school has been in operation for the past 14 years and we are still growing. We are consistently trying to improve and be better as a school.

My Project

For this project, we are requesting Hydro Flask Coolers for us to take on Intramural Sporting Events. Over the past school years, our school has been participating in Intramural Sporting Events with other schools in our districts. Recently, schools have not been allowing us to take coolers to use for our drinks to these events.

We are requesting these coolers because it is a backpack and it is allowed in schools and in their gyms.

We can't rely on other schools having working water fountains and providing our students drinks. By doing this, we will be prepared just in case the worst situation occurs.
