My students need reeds for tone production and sound production. We are currently out of reeds. The intonation book I need to further educate myself on correct intonation of each instrument.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are moving forward with the Band Program here. The students are an amazing blend of personalities, attitudes, and positive energy! We are working together to create a Instrumental Band Program here at Grant. We face many unique challenges. Every program faces shared challenges such as logistics, finance, and administration. We face those and a few other more specific to Grant. About a third of our program are true beginners. That is they have been paying an instrument under a two years. They never back down from this challenge and are an inspiration to work with.
My Project
The instructional book is for the instructor. I am not as strong at teaching intonation to my woodwind students. I believe that you are never old to learn how to hone a skill. The book will improve every students ability to produce good intonation and tuning. The reeds are vital to tone production of woodwind instruments such as clarinet or saxophone. With out good reeds there is no tone production. Reeds need to be replaced once a month if possible. We are in need as most of the saxophones are playing on reeds that are more then three months old. This softens the cane, reeds are wooden and made from cane, and makes the reed more difficult to play on.
