My Project

International Inspiration is a project that will benefit my book club students. Two seniors saw the need for the club last year and petitioned administration to start a club for students this school year. Students have been reading from a variety of genres all school year. "Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World" is a graphic novel that highlights 29 women from across the globe that have overcome obstacles or hardships.

In celebration of Women's History month, members of the book club will read "Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World" as inspiration about women who have shaped not only our nation but the world!

When students pick up their graphic novels, they will receive sticky notes and construction paper. The sticky notes will be used to take notes about the women they read about. Each book club member will select one person they read about to create a One-Pager to share at our monthly meeting.
