Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade special education students. They have intellectual, sensory, and emotional impairments but are aided by inclusion in a small classroom setting. My students struggle with mathematics concepts, and this year our goals are to build confidence in our foundational math skills and to become more engaged with our learning.

My Project

These Teachers Pay Teachers gift card materials will be useful to supplement the curriculum we use for math. My students need additional supports and extra practice with each lesson. It also helps when I can provide more interesting and interactive lessons and materials so they can learn in different ways as well as have fun while learning. The materials available on TPT are often different and creative or provide differentiation that is needed to help reach all students regardless of their ability. TPT also offers the ability to pick and choose additional resources per topic as needed.
