My Students

Many of my students come from households where books are rare in the home.They love to read many different types of genres. Students often partner or have group discussions about our class books. They even recommend their favorite books to friends and family in other classes.

There is nothing better than a teacher noticing her students are interested in reading.

Many students even enjoy doing special projects on books that they have read. My students are curious, smart, and love reading.

My Project

Our classroom books need a great home. We need shelving for our books to help our library stay organized. I want to provide an organized area for our growing library.

I want the students to enjoy going to the class library.

I would like to expand our class library so the students can have a variety of different books from fiction to informational with different types of genres.

Having a classroom library reflects the importance of literacy in the classroom. I can also teach students about books and book selection. We would love to have new bookcases for a beautiful and cool library in our classroom.
