My Project

Hello, thank you for considering our classroom! The materials I have requested will be used to help students have the tools they need to participate in whole group word mapping lessons. Students will use the word mapping paddles for phoneme, grapheme, and orthographic mapping, a Science of Reading technique.

Students will easily manipulate sounds in words by targeting the isolated sounds they hear.

Students will be able to use the hand2mind Reading Readiness Activity Set to further expand their learning by using the magnetic letters to demonstrate their understanding of phoneme and grapheme. Continuing to use the Science of Reading approach will ensure my students are taught phonics systematically, explicitly, and cumulatively to be successful readers.
