Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Getting Interactive with Math. When we start a new concept, my students are eager to use their interactive notebook.
My students attend a public middle school in the state of Texas.
Most of my students are at-risk students who struggle with success in school and some are students who just struggle in math. These same students have various multiple intelligences. Many of them are bodily kinesthetic or tactile learners. So creating a notebook instead of just writing notes on a page draw on their strengths.
My Project
My students will utilize the tape to help create a clean interactive notebook. Pencils are always in demand in my classroom and a good pencil sharpener is too. The clear box tape will help my students preserve their covers and the numbers that represent them. The dry erase markers will be used on our dry erase boards for working out problems on our desks.
The donations will help my students be successful and organized the entire year.
My students are taking pride in their interactive notebook and helping them stay organized with lots of examples, they will be more successful.
