This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 7th and 8th grade scholars at an urban school. My students are hard working and so excited to learn each day. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging assignments that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things and grow to their best potential.
Our class motto is "In this classroom we don't lose, we either win or we learn." We are a small school and we build each other up because every student knows one another.
Each student strives to be a leader every day even when no one is looking!
My Project
My students love learning in many different ways. Our Interactive Notebooks in Math class are the perfect way to do this. In the past we've used glue sticks but they do not work as well as Elmer's white glue. We often times have papers fall out because of the lack of stickiness from the glue sticks.
The glue caps will help us waste less glue in our Interactive Notebooks and make sure that the papers stay glued to the pages in our notebooks.
Classroom leaders will also be able to easily fill the glue bottles with the refill gallons when needed. This resource will make our lives so much easier and allow us to not lose papers from our notebooks.
