Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students in my neighborhood are not ordinary kids. When you sit down and talk to them, their mindset and their problems are the same ones as their parents. Yes, these kids are the nicest kids you will ever meet, so nice that you can't even tell they have such big problems. I teach the group that will be the change to this neighborhood, the three-year-olds. The school that I work for is very small, but it's making a great change to the community. I can say this because I was one of the students. I work at the school that I attended from kinder all the way through fifth grade. Now, I am asking you to help me change generations to come by offering an interactive learning board.
My Project
Students that are 3 years old need to be interactive. Students in general need to be interactive. The interactive whiteboards will do this in the classroom. The students will be teachers and have the ability to teach each other. They will learn to become further leaders because they will learn and practice simple presentation skills. Lessons can become more entertaining to them. The students will be doing things that they have never done before. For example, students can practice writing skills, play matching games, play together with apps that go with an interactive whiteboard. The class has to change because we are teaching a new generation of kids and technology and interactive skills is a must for our further leaders.
