My students are awesome!
They are hard-working and love learning mathematics in a student-centered classroom. Many of my students have struggled, in the past, to feel confident about their mathematically abilities. A mathematics class with math games, interactive activities, and supplies that support this learning help my students learn each and everyday.
My Project
Your donation will provide my students with an interactive environment where math games and explorations are an integral part of learning. Students can use white boards and expo markers to answer Jeopardy questions or can play Bingo to reinforce their knowledge of algebra. This classroom setting allows me to give each and every student feedback on their progress multiple times throughout the day. Further, my geometry students can use rulers and protractors to explore and discover aspects of polygons. This small group work and discovery helps my students to really learn and understand how and why Geometry works.
This project is so important because it will allow my students to be fully engaged in the learning of mathematics.
These supplies help me to create an interactive, math classroom where students enjoy and look forward to coming to class. My students will use the supplies that you provide each day for months and perhaps for years to come.
