My Students

My students are energetic and eager to learn. They are actively engaged with each lesson, the more I'm able to incorporate technology or relate it to real-life problems.

As a math teacher, overcoming the challenge of "I'm not good at this or when will I ever use this," is the hardest however the more engaged a student is, the easier I've found this is to overcome.

Engagement with today's middle school student involves technology, projects, collaborative learning, and fun.

As a 6th grade teacher, my students are just beginning their middle school careers and exploring life beyond elementary school. They change classes, adjust to new teachers, new ways, and new requirements.

My Project

The interactive whiteboard system will give our classroom the functionality of a Smart Board Classroom without the expensive price tag that comes with interactive boards. Interactive boards start at about $1,000 and once mounted in the classroom are difficult to move. This system is moveable and inexpensive alternative solution. The technology allows you to present a lesson, write on the slides, move items around, plot points on a coordinate grid, and control the computer wirelessly.

This system transforms any whiteboard into an interactive whiteboard system.

Students will able to learn math with a hands on approach.
