My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best varies. My students are truly my inspiration!

This year, one of my goals is to improve student engagement and motivation by providing more hands-on learning experiences.

I provide them opportunities for 'voice and choice' where they can choose different assignments and projects to complete in order to demonstrate their learning. They love it!

My Project

Bringing a Promethean Board into our classroom will completely transform learning for my students! It will help give them access to 100's of interactive Reading and Science lesson experiences. A Promethean board will allow for interactive presentations, engaging games, and collaboration!

These boards are made specifically with students in mind, and the software it comes with will provide me all I need to create years worth of flipcharts and lessons!

This Promethean Board would not only make a difference to my students this year but future classes will benefit, too. As technology and collaboration become more important in the workforce, this Promethean board will be the perfect stepping stone to give my students a positive start!
