Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Chris, Natalie and Juliana are seniors who have decided to start a project so they can "leave something behind" when they graduate. They are all very active students who have taken time to create a project that will be useful in the classroom.
They first approached me with their idea and said they wanted to contribute an interactive tool for the classroom. All three of them feel this would be a great way to give back to our school and say thanks as they look towards graduation.
Students will be able to interact and answer questions in class, they will be able to receive immediate feedback on their responses. Incorporating technology in the classroom will help the students academically as each day classrooms and the workforce move to a more technological emphasis. Technology is a great way to reach today's students and to motivate them.
One example of a skill students will gain is the ability to work with others. These interactive classroom clickers can be used for team competitions and it will allow students to work with a team. The competition adds some fun to the classroom.

As i near graduation I have thought of what I can give back to the school that may leave a lasting impression on those that follow. My goal with this project is to help the school get some technology that will help make our classes more interactive and provide a great study tool for the students and teachers. - Chris
Creating this project has provided me with the opportunity to research some technology that can be used in the classroom. It will give me the chance to also reach out to the community and share with people some of the new and exciting things that technology may bring to school. As a leader it is a great opportunity to develop my networking skills and help my fellow classmates. - Natalie
This project will be important to my school community because it will help us grow with technology and keep pace with the world around us. Each day phones, tablets, laptops, get more advanced and are used at new places. Having access to this in the classroom will help us develop skills to keep up. This project will also help with the challenge of student motivation in class. Having interactive tools like this makes class more interesting and fun. - Juliana
