I teach in a small academy style district elementary school. Our school's focus is Personalized Learning and PRIDE in our efforts. My students are fifth graders and they are between 10 and 11 years old. My students are enthusiastic learners who love to dialogue with each other, share ideas, and actively engage in their learning.
My students are always excited to learn new things and participate in school activities.
This year my students have the opportunity to become the "big kids" on campus and step up into new responsibilities. This is the first grade level that in which they will experience departmentalized learning. In my classroom, students will be learning Math and Science.
My Project
This year will be the first year that my students experience with departmentalized learning. In my classroom, they will learn math and science. These bulletin board sets will help my students learn new concepts and interact with their learning! They also need to keep their space organized since they will be sharing it with 60 other students. My students will carry most of their materials in their backpacks but their textbooks will be kept in the classroom and they need an organized place to keep them. I am excited about the opportunity to present this new learning opportunity to my students.
