Our elementary school services over 1,200 students, in an urban setting. My students are special because they come from a variety of economic levels, are full of energy, and are eager to learn new things.
I want to be able to give my students experiences that will create lifelong learners.
My goal is to give my students opportunities that allow them to grow and encourage them to enjoy learning, through hands-on experiences. Every day we strive to do our best, because "Every day is Career Day."
My Project
Imagine a room full of 6 year old clapping when you say it is time to learn. My students cheer every time I say it is time for centers! The materials I have requested would give them so many more reasons to be excited for "center time".
Centers give my students a chance to make learning fun and interactive.
Many of them don't even realize how much they are learning because these resources are engaging and feel like they are playing a game. The laminator and laminating pouches allow me to create centers for the classroom that are durable and allow for students to have many options of educational centers to use.
