Ms. Smith from Washington DC is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a digital projector to access technology.

Kids ask many questions. Who did? Why? What is? Where? These questions are welcomed and encouraged in my class. We investigate the unknown on a daily basis. With the increase in transportation cost and the constant change in information, the computer is our best means of locating information.
I currently work with 85 students in Georgia.
They are the best students. This is a public school. I teach a different grade level everyday. We have the entire day to explore and enrich the standard school curriculum. The school has students from all economic groups including students who are homeless or live in extended stay hotels.
I have a PhD and my students keep me working hard to locate the answers to their questions. We use our computers to do research. We are provided three desktop computers but it is often necessary to present information to the entire group at a time and the 19 inch TV is just to small. We need an LCD projector of our own to allow us to all see and get the information we need. With the projector we can take virtual field trips, have guided lessons, and do research. Students will also be able to present their findings and reports to their peers in a more advanced way.
This project will keep students interested in education.
It will increase the use of technology as well as work on our advance research, communication, and advance problem solving skills. It will allow us to keep up with the ever changing world.
