Integrating Technology in Kindergarten!

Help me give my students a computer center in our Kindergarten classroom. My students have access to iPads, which is wonderful, but they need to learn how to sit at a desk and use a computer correctly.

My Students

Our school serves students from PK3-6th grade. The majority of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Our students deserve as many opportunities as we can give them. These children are our future teachers, doctors and maybe even our future president is in this sweet bunch!

The students are eager to learn each day as they come to school.

I love seeing their faces as they ask what we will be learning about next. We provide ways to engage them as their teachers.

My Project

These chrome books could be used for Literacy Centers, Math Centers, or Science Centers. I would love for my students to be able to use this form of technology to integrate the subjects that I teach. I would love for my ESL learners to have access to this technology as well.

These materials will be a game changer for my classroom.

Students in this generation know how to use touch screen technology only. I would love to set up a center for my students to explore computers with a mouse instead of relying on touch only.

I am so excited to be able to teach the technology standards the state of Texas expects me to teach with these materials.
