My Students

I teach general music at two rural schools in Wyoming. The kids that I teach are amazing. They are very enthusiastic about music and express their creativity daily. They often offer their own musical experiences to further connect with activities in class.

My students are open to any challenge that they are presented with and their willingness to learn is inspiring.

Our classroom is not only about learning musical skills, my goal is to help create well-rounded students that are full of compassion, students that critically think, students that are curious, and students that are creative. In our class, we work as a team, we build each other up, we try our best, we are creative, we sing, we dance, we play, and we learn.

My Project

Wheeled orff instrument stands will give my student the flexibility to move around the classroom. It will help my youngest to my oldest students easily move and adjust instruments to their height, preferred spot in the classroom, or seated/standing position. This will allow my students, regardless of ability, to access our classroom instruments in a way that is comfortable and meaningful to them.

It is my goal to have a functioning classroom for all and these rolling orff instrument stands will help me accomplish that goal.

They will help open up our classroom by providing easier storage, therefore giving us the space to sing, dance, play, and create.
