My Students

My students are incredibly kind and diverse. They are the community that I want to see all over the world. Their strong sense of togetherness shows in their musical expression. I am striving to help them be represented in their neighborhood and wider school communities at large so they can showcase themselves as part of this hardworking team of musicians!

My Project

I want to help build community and organization in my classroom! Having the equipment to create tags for my student's instruments will not only allow us to function efficiently as a program, but it will also allow us to individually represent each student by making them a small ID tag of personalized belonging. My students come from diverse backgrounds and many of them do not have a lot. The small token that this device makes will help me start to connect everyone as musicians in the same orchestra program 6th-12th grade!
