I'm completely blessed to be teaching first grade. My students love coming to school and are very excited about being here. My school is a Title One school where we strive to provide our students the best academic experience possible.
My students are extremely bright, motivated, and talented.
In our classroom, we have created a fun and collaborative learning environment where we celebrate differences and learn to take risks. The progress they make throughout the year never fails to amaze me! I am always so incredibly proud of the progress they make, based on their hard work.
My Project
Next year I'm moving to first grade and I want to have the materials needed to help my students become aspiring writers. My students need a writing center that would house all the supplies they need to become creative writers. The lap desks provide my students with the flexibility to sit anywhere and just focus on their writing. The sterilite drawers will help me organize the materials needed for the writing station so students aren't scrambling to find materials that fit their needs. We will be able to store pencils, markers, erasers, crayons, and paper in the drawers. This space will help my students put their dreams onto paper.
