An interactive classroom is an essential component for a supportive classroom.
My students love to express themselves through their writing and to create posters based on their reading materials! The love to share their thoughts and book recommendations with one another. Being organized in the classroom is a lifelong skill these children will benefit from.
My Project
Students love to write about personal experiences.
The journal books will help my students gain a feeling of "personalization" about their writing.
The journal will be decorated by them to show the things they love. When children have a concrete object to show things that are important to them, they can easily write about them. Having a journal throughout the school year helps the children see their progress through their words and stories.
This is a place the children will be able to write about things they admire and love. The children can use the new "Special Writing" Pencils, to help get their ideas flowing.
