My students need materials that support their learning of the environment, world, and culture through literacy. TIME for Kids and Let's Find Out, a Scholastic magazine truly help inspire curiosity and exploration through reading.

My Students

My students love to learn. They are building their understanding daily through literature and experiences. My students are historians, scientists and engineers at their most creative state and thrive for information and experience.

Curiosity drives my students to learn and build their personal knowledge and experience through interaction with new information.

These students use prior knowledge but are in need nonfiction resources to meet their needs through spontaneous curiosity paired with effective teaching. These children are supported emotionally and physically. Now they require a plethora of materials to enhance their learning to be the best in all areas of education.

My Project

Time Magazine and Let's Find Out through Scholastic will inspire my students to do Project Base learning about many of our integrated topics and themes. Some of these themes include animal habitats, weather, seasons, and community helpers. We will explore cultures, holidays, and traditions in other countries.

TIME Magazine and Let's Find Out truly encourages students to dive further into concrete subjects and integrate magazines into daily learning.

Students will be given the opportunity to read this material with focus but also freedom. They will be asked to dive into the magazines and support their learning through additional research. Students will present materials to their peers and parents through workshops, centers, and plays.
