My students need the comb binding machine and materials because they will be making life binders that focus on their academic achievements throughout the school year.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have known my middle school scholars since they were in the fourth grade here at our school, that was when I was introduced into their school. They are very friendly, energetic and love to express themselves with their humor any chance they get. They come from very humble homes and most of them will be first time middle school graduates. In the classroom, they love to show off their artistic talents every chance they get. We treat our classroom as an art gallery to build their self-esteem and to build confidence regardless of abilities.
Most of my students have been moving up in grade with the same classmates since the second grade and they will be in my homeroom class until they graduate middle school.
As a teacher, I am very proud of the accomplishments that they have made and I am excited to see all of my scholars grow academically and as positive role models for our elementary students.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students learning through out the year because they will be able to see their growth during the school year. The binding machine and comb spines will be used to create personalized folders for the students to organize all of their accomplishments, both at home and at school.
The leadership binders that the students will create will help students' motivation, set goals and become outstanding citizens throughout their lives.
The binders will be used by the students to show case all of their work to other teachers, parents at back to school night and to other students. The students will be active participants in their education and share the knowledge that they have learned at home with their parents.
