Ms. Morrow from Tunica MS is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need these items for educational purposes and incentives for what they have achieved on their educational and community service journey. These technology items, Earbud Headphones and Flash Drives are essential for the way they research information and keep files..

During this school year, the students have done community service projects with children in childcare centers and given their time to others in the community. These students are in the 9th-12 grade and they are FCCLA(Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) members and I am their advisor and teacher.
" It takes a village to raise a child" is a proverb which means that it takes an entire community of different people interacting with children in order for children to experience and grow in a safe environment.
The materials will make a difference in my student's service to the community because of the way students learn and store their information is centered on using technology.
These resources will help students give presentations, email, text, work independently and as a group to achieve community service awareness.
The project has been ongoing throughout the school year. Students have worked with childcare centers and literacy councils.
The students use their phones and computers in the community projects. The resources such as ear buds, stylus and flash drives are accessories that are needed to assist them with obtaining and storing needed information. Working with literacy and early childhood projects, the students will use the resources to enhance their ability to obtain success and inspire the community involvement ongoing through the summer.
