I teach at a small country school, still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey, where our students often have different lifestyles and interests than that of most of our school district. The students in my class are creative, imaginative, and eager to learn. My students come to school ready to work hard and always seek out new learning opportunities.
The students in my class each have their own learning styles, so being able to provide them with a variety of learning opportunities is imperative for their success.
My students thrive on engaging, hands on activities. Outside of school they often utilize technology for enjoyment, so they are eager to use technology in the classroom for learning.
My Project
In my classroom, we utilize technology in our learning. We use educational programs to extend our knowledge and improve specific skills. On my campus, we have students of all learning types, styles, and achievement levels.
By donating to our project, you will be furthering my students education and broadening their learning opportunities.
My students will be able to use educational programs and apps that they would not otherwise have access to. Technology is a great tool for our students, especially those who need extra interventions. iPads will allow for more intervention opportunities for students who may be struggling. If I have iPads available for my students to use, more students will be able to access our intervention programs without needing to leave my classroom. This will make a world of a difference in their education.
