My Students

Despite many economic and social barriers, the students at my school are bright and enthusiastic learners. They come from all over the globe! Many students struggle because of language issues and hands-on activities are a vital way to engage all students.

Statistics show that there is an alarming lack of minorities in the science and engineering fields.

I believe this is due to the lack of exposure to these concepts in earlier education. By providing students with the opportunity to explore engineering concepts and problem solve as a team, they gain the confidence to pursue those fields in the future.

My Project

These Goldiblox engineering kits are designed to make problem-solving and engineering fun and accessible for elementary students. The kit comes with a storybook that presents students with a problem. Using the materials in the kit, students build a solution to the problem presented in the book. All students love to build and create, these kits are a fun way to tie language arts with engineering.

By using these kits in small groups, students can learn and explore in a stress-free way, giving them a chance to be successful.

I know the students will love the building activities while being exposed to new concepts in engineering. Thank you so much for your interest in our school!
