Each student in my class has a passion for learning however, the method or strategy varies greatly. With that in mind, students have opportunities to work independently, in groups, with partners, and choice in flexible seating. This provides multiple opportunities for students to self-select the environment that best meets their needs.
My students are energetic, curious, and compassionate.
They bubble with enthusiasm and strive to make each other better through inquiry and questioning every day. They are driven by choice and opportunities to explore their passions and interests.
They are driven by the diversified learning environments digital tools and opportunities provide. As learners in the 21st century, they must have access to a multitude of these devices.
My Project
Touchscreen Chromebooks that have a home in our classroom will provide my students with the daily access needed to reach the needs of all learners.
These Chromebooks will allow consistent access that is flexible, empowering, and student-driven, supporting my students diversified needs to explore, create and deepen their learning.
We will be able to implement a center in our reading rotation that provides diverse methods and opportunities for learning.
When resources are readily available students have the assurance that they the tools will always be available to extend, or support their learning, this generally eases anxieties which can lead to deeper and more consistent learning.
