My Students
My three classes are incredibly diverse. Many of my students have experienced a trauma in their lives and are having a difficult time over- coming those obstacles. The opportunities presented in school are highlights to their day. My classes serve students with a range of readiness levels, including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum and gifted students.
These resources will enable my children to learn as effectively as possible by adding to the intervention strategies in place in their educational programs.
My goal is to teach a love of learning in an engaging, exciting environment.
My Project
Not every student learns in the same way and many students who are using computers for personalized learning, learn better when wearing headphones which allows for better focus and concentration. When a student is absent from a lesson, watching a video presentation during class allows that student to be caught up prior to returning to the current lesson, preventing gaps in their learning.
Blocking out disruptive or distracting classroom noises presents an opportunity for clarity when viewing presentations in class, working on a collaborative slide presentation or even individual computer lessons on financial readiness.
Headphones are the perfect way to enhance those learning experiences.
