Our students are hard-working little individuals with a drive like no other. Many of our students come from difficult backgrounds and they look forward to coming to school every day to learn and be a part of our little community. Our students love reading and learning about their world and environment.
My students enjoy books that bring their imaginations to life!
They fill their tanks with graphic novels and mystery books. My classes get excited about being in the library even though our library is very old and dated. They love being in small groups and learning about each other as well as learning about their world. My classroom is about being together and learning from each other. I want to continue to build a sense of community in the library and with the students.
My Project
These books are of the greatest value to my students. Our school is in need of good books for our children. Many of our students do not have books at home because of circumstances beyond their control, so it is so important to me that I make sure our library has books on their level that they can check out! Our library is in desperate need of books for these students.
Having these new books in our library inspires our students to be creative, imagine the unimaginable, and to overcome their circumstances.
These books give them a light to hold on to. They help the library be a place of comfort and creativity.
