Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a third grade monolingual teacher at a hard-working school in Washington Heights, with 97% of our students eligible for free lunch. Third grade has been selected as a key grade by the mayor. I agree. I have been trained this summer, by my region, to incorporate technology, across all curriculum areas. To facilitate this in my classroom, I would appreciate a LCD projector. A LCD projector would offer a world of learning applications in my classroom. Power point presentations, class lessons, and student reports, are a few uses. In addition, I would be able to demonstrate computer programs and using the Internet. This would help to build a strong foundation for their technical sophistication. Also, videos can be shown to expand, and clarify the curriculum. To help teach and inspire, I would greatly appreciate a LCD projector.
