My students are a fun, independent group of kids. When they can be completely engaged in a lesson, they forget that they are in school and just enjoy learning. We are a STEAM school and strive to incorporate hands-on learning in all of our lessons.
My students love to collaborate with one another and share ideas.
They start each day anticipating the fun, engaging challenges that await them. As a Title I school, it is our job to show them that they have no limits and can accomplish whatever they set out to do.
As a Title I STEAM school, our goal is to inspire students' desire to learn through hands-on projects that allow them to learn without even knowing it. By utilizing a Cricut in the classroom, students will learn to think creatively. Creative projects will allow them to learn design elements, measurements, project management, hands-on computer skills, and problem-solving as well as reinforcing their ability to work as a team.
If they imagine what they can do in the classroom, they will begin to imagine what they can do outside of the classroom.
Coming up with a concept and seeing it through to completion will boost self-confidence and encourage them to challenge themselves in other areas.
Having a Cricut in our school will also allow teachers to create visual aids for their classrooms.
