My Students

My students are amazing little people with great questions, talents, and varying abilities. They are wiggly, silly, love coming to school, and love learning! They love being able to move while they're learning and exploring new and different materials.

One of my favorite things about our classroom is the community that we have built.

They love working together and celebrating each other's success. We have so many different types of learners with various abilities. They engage in their learning in a way that fosters growth and love. I love being their teacher and sharing in their learning!

My Project

These board games, puzzles, and building materials will allow my students to interact and engage with each other during indoor recess on those bitter cold winter days when we are stuck inside. Many of my students do not have opportunities to play board games or puzzles outside of school. These games give them the opportunity to learn sharing and problem solving skills in an environment where they can learn and grow. Many of these games also incorporate counting and investigating which are skills that translate to the academic setting as well.
