The students at our high school come from a variety of backgrounds. Most of our students receive a free or reduced price lunch and are in need of after school activities that will impact their lives in a positive way. Many students come from a neighborhood where they do not feel comfortable going outside and playing after school.
Many of our students who do not participate in after school sports are in need of a club where they can develop a sense of community and friendship in a safe environment.
These students are always asking about various after school clubs they can join. They have upbeat and positive spirits and can achieve anything they put their minds to.
My Project
My students will use the requested supplies during an after school fitness club called Insanity Live. We need yoga mats, sweat towels, and water bottles. Many of my students cannot afford to buy these kinds of supplies. With your donation, my students will be able to use these items to participate in an after school fitness club every week.
Providing these students with a safe place to go after school where they can work out with their friends and teachers is an investment in their health and well-being.
