My students need art supplies, including posters, nature-print paper and an architectural set, for innovative art projects.
This project expired on December 17, 2013.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Do you remember your art projects as a kid?
Yes, We all do!
Let's give all children a chance to experience art and create a lifelong memory.
My students are from low socioeconomically disadvantaged neighborhoods where English is their second language.
They have few art resources at home and at school. I'd like to offer my students an opportunity to create sculptures, and nature photos. This will give them a real experience as an artist. For many of my students this will be their first experience creating any kind of artwork.
Learning to express ones feelings is an important element for a child. We start with fingerprinting on paper but as their experience grows, their materials should expand as well. I'm requesting art supplies to make sculptures, and nature photos. This will be a great hands-on learning experience for my students. I'm also requesting art cards to post in the rooms, so the students can learn the different types of artist's jobs available to them as adults.
All children need to find a positive, creative outlet for their feelings.
Please help supply my students with the art materials needed to have a complete arts education and meaningful experiences.
