Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing kids. They surprise me every day with their knowledge. They can take a concept I taught them and take it beyond my imagination. Their writing is incredible. They can make you laugh and cry while you read their stories. They work very hard and they are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Because these kids work so hard, I want to be able to offer them things that they don't have access to at home since our school is situated in the poorest area of our city. That is why I want to be able to offer them the resources they need.

My Project

By bringing these Echo Dots into my classroom, classroom instruction will be made easy and fun, providing my students the opportunity to have access to all the features found in the Alexa Dots.

Alexa Echo Dots will give my students the opportunity to learn in a fun and innovative way.

Some of the features we'll be able to use in our classroom include: immediate access to dictionaries both in English and Spanish, which will give my students definitions and correct spelling for words. We can also use it as a timer, to play music while working, to answer content questions and millions of other features.
