My students need three mini iPads for small group projects.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Discovering how to keep a classroom full of unique individuals with diverse personalities and learning preferences all happily engaged in common core curriculum has been the greater challenge for me as a 4th grade teacher. I recently discovered that iPads are the answer!
I have 30 sweet and energetic 4th graders.
There are 16 males students and 14 female students. The majority, or 50%, of the students are Caucasian/White, 23% are Chinese, 13% are Hispanic or Latino, 10% are Asian Indian, and .03% is Vietnamese. Thus, it is a diverse classroom where the needs of the students vary drastically.
For intervention groups, I'd love to have three iPads always on hand. iPads provide unique and powerful learning benefits for students who may have different needs than the rest of their classmates. They can also use ipads as a resource to help them with non fiction research and will always have technology on hand throughout the school day.
My students will benefit from the daily use of iPads to enrich their learning!
They can collaborate in groups and work together to navigate their learning.
Thanks to Chevron's Fuel Your School, this will provide my students endless learning possibilities all on a device that everybody already loves to use!
