My students need an iPad with a removable keyboard case and stand, 2 headphones, and a splitter. These resources will help to increase fluency, improve reading comprehension, practice math facts, and many other skills that can be reinforced using apps available on the iPad.
Our students have had technology available to them since birth. I want to educate students in a way that meets the current trends, using technology. An iPad would provide hands-on use for students using technology at their individual level. The iPad will also engage students and reinforce concepts taught.
I teach in a diverse classroom with many kinds of learners.
My goal is to try to reach students who are reluctant learners and tap into the digital age to reach even the most reluctant learner.
I currently have twenty-three students in my classroom; the numbers are increasing each year. It becomes increasingly hard to reach all of my students and give them all the time they deserve. By providing games and apps available on the iPad, it will be another resource to meet the needs of each individual student.
My Project
I am requesting an iPad, a headphone splitter, several pairs of headphones, and a removable keyboard and case for the iPad. These resources will allow students to practice a variety of math, reading, and science skills in a way that they would not have access to without these resources. The resources will push learning to the next level for many students, engaging them with games and making learning fun.
I would like to get technology for my classroom because it will not be available to my students any other way.
I am always striving to push my students' learning and engage them in new and exciting ways. I hear from other teachers the new opportunities available for their students, and I want the best for my students as well.
