Help me give my students a printing machine that brings their designs to life! The Cricut is a new tool many teachers are using with students to create and design an array of projects!
I am excited to be teaching fifth-grade advanced academics. My Students are creative, motivated, and hard-working. My fifth graders have a wonderful sense of humor and are the perfect blend of independent and dependent, they still adore their teacher! Though they are often concerned with social interactions at school, they still love learning!
Students in my class are also very creative.
They enjoy crafting and constructing new things. Students this year are excited about the new challenges and learning that will take place in our classroom. I currently teach 5th-grade advanced math. Many of our activities revolve around designing and developing like real-world mathematicians.

Introducing a new way for students to learn, design, and use technology!
We are asking for a Cricut Explore Air 2 for our classroom so students can design their own decor, cards, vinyl decals for class shirts, and so much more.
Students can use "Design Space" to create and design their own projects. What can they make? Design space has been used by many teachers to introduce students to the idea of design. They can make just about anything! When students design using the Cricut they are learning a variety of skills. They will incorporate important concepts related to math by learning how to measure fonts and images for placement in their project. They will work on writing and literacy to come up with fancy taglines, or short phrases for their work.
In addition to providing students with a new technology tool for designing, teachers around the county are using the Cricut to get and stay organized. Classroom set-up can be costly, and with the Cricut, the same decals can be created because materials can be purchased at a low cost. Not only is this a great tool for teachers to use to stay organized, but it is a great tool for students to be able to design and create custom works!
