How do you learn how to dribble a basketball like LeBron James or shoot a soccer ball like David Beckham without a ball? How do you learn the foundations of fitness and health without any equipment? My students won't have the chance to learn these essential skills if they don't have any equipment.
My students come from the inner city and most don't have access to the basic things that many people take for granted.
Unlike other students I know, my students want to be at school and are eager to learn. I want to be able to feed their appetite for learning by providing them with the best, most equipped PE environment possible.
My Project
I am requesting basic sports and fitness equipment for my amazing students! I have requested some soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, and playground balls, a floor hockey set, and some health posters. Right now, my school only has enough equipment to support a few students at a time. I would love to be able to provide my students with enough equipment for an entire class so no one would be left sitting on the sidelines!
