My Students

My students are fourth graders in an urban school. They have a wide range of academic support needs and are from very diverse backgrounds. Our students come into our school every day full of excitement and eagerness to learn each with their own unique abilities. We are a low-income school, where every child receives free breakfast and lunch. A large percentage of our students do not speak English as their first language.

Our school community is very diverse and full of amazing learning opportunities for our students.

I want to provide my future students with the supplies and tools they'll need to be successful next year. My students are hard workers and come to school every day ready to learn. They are excited and curious to learn about all the new opportunities our classroom has to offer.

My Project

In our classroom, we are constantly using the printer daily for multiple uses. We use it for important newsletters, notes to parents, classwork, homework, and projects for students. Having a printer in a classroom is very important. With that printer, we are always in need of ink and paper.

It would be wonderful to have a couple of cartridges and paper on hand so we are always prepared for the next print job!

A printer in the classroom allows me to create materials that will address the needs of my students. Printer ink allows me to provide students with materials that enhance their learning and allows them practice on a daily basis.

It is important that students have access to different learning materials that sometimes cannot be provided to them from a book. It is my wish to provide my students with everything and anything that will enhance their learning. By supporting this project you are helping me to provide my students with all resources that can be given to them by simply pressing "print".
