Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have risen from many obstacles in life to get to this point. They are in a place where they are striving to do what is right, despite the constant pulls in the opposite direction. These students are eager to find personal successes and share them with those around them.

These students, this school year, will be able to show what they learn through engagement in every day tasks.

What they accomplish this year will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

My Project

I was gifted a printer to use in my classroom. This will allow the students graphic organizers and other visuals on demand. It will also allow them to be able to print their work for editing by hand. This is important since most of my work is digital.

However, a printer is just a large paperweight if it doesn't have ink.

So this project will provide the ink for the donated printer. There are three high-yield toner cartridges. This will help us print more pages without needing refills. By having three, we should be able to finish out the school year without needing more.
