Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am an educator in a low-income, Title I school with almost 500 children. This year will be my 13th year teaching. This year I will service 46 eager and ready scholars. They are excited about this school year and all of the fun activities that I have planned.
My goal this year is to make all of my students grow one grade level above where they are now.
I want all of my students to be successful this year. I want them to excel.
My Project
We have our own printer/copier in our classroom. We are running low on the ink that is needed to keep it going. We would like to have more ink to be used in our class. We use the printer all of the time for our classroom projects and activities. I also use the printer to print out colorful reports. Students print out materials when they are working on classroom projects. For example, students were able to print out pictures of people in order to add them to their brochures or posters. Colorful pictures are always better than black and white ones! We need ink!
