This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are not provided with the support and resources they need and deserve. They are very eager, energetic, fun preschoolers who want nothing more than to succeed in the classroom and build the foundation they need to be successful in the school years to come.

I teach in a very low-income community.

Many of my students are from Spanish-speaking homes with limited English. I want to give my students every opportunity in my classroom, so they can enjoy all preschool has to offer.

My Project

Aside from important notes I print out for parents, I often make my own kinds of worksheets for my students. I am constantly printing up phonemic and alphabetic activities for my students as well. Students will use the prints I make to help reinforce letters and numbers they are learning in the classroom.

It would be so wonderful to have a couple of extra ink cartridges so that I am always prepared for the next print job!

In Preschool having a working printer with enough ink supply is so important. I need to continue to work professionally, and having ink allows me to produce the appropriate documents for my students and families in a timely and organized fashion!
