Thank you for visiting my class page! My classroom is very diverse, with students coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. Many of the students have moved to our country within the past five years and most speak a different language at home. Students in my class are eager to learn and experience the new curriculum and cultural events in their area. Their enthusiasm and dedication create a warm classroom community that encourages growth and learning both inside and out of the classroom.
Two years ago, generous donors donated a color printer to our classroom. When students had access to the color printer, students were able to get individualized colored anchor charts. They were able to get color coded graphic organizers, colored pictures to analyze, and add colored text elements to their writing.
Please help restore the ink for our printer!
This year I am hoping to implement Universal Design for Learning. A critical part to that is having resources printed in a variety of ways. This includes resources in different colors and with different pictures. Besides all of the things I was already using the colored printer for, I am hoping to use it for these resources as well.
