This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school in North Carolina and many of my students are at risk of academic failure. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. The early learners in my class are more interested in the process of discovering and manipulating materials than the final products of their experiments.
Learning experiences are meaningful and relevant for every child and reflect his or her developmental, cultural, and individual circumstances.
My students love to move and be active. However, because of recent budget cuts, we are unable to purchase additional resources such as the ones requested.
My Project
My students need this requested HP ink to use our printer to capture every moment of their classroom creations such as their digital art, digital show and tells, and digital finding when we complete STEM activities. They will be able to creating a portfolio of memories as they complete their journey of education and discovery.
Having ink will give the students more opportunities to learn hands-on by following directions and printing their completed projects to share with family and friends.
I teach using a project-based learning model. We need a fully functioning technology center that will allow my student to create, publish, and store their projects then communicate their ideas concretely.
