This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I service a diverse and energetic group of students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I provide small group services for them in their own classroom or in our separate SETSS classroom. They are easily excitable and enjoy learning. They try their best to focus and persevere through academic challenges. They are kind to one another and encourage each other to keep trying even when they struggle.

My students have learning disabilities that require their school materials to be differentiated and more easily accessible.

They struggle to focus on typical classroom tasks for an extended period of time without getting bored or anxious. They like to play games and learn creatively!

My Project

Our classroom needs black and colored ink for our printer. We currently do not have any left which limits the amount of individualized lesson materials I can create and print for them. With new ink for our printer, students will have differentiated and individualized lesson materials such as colored tools for ELA and Math (everything from multiplication facts to helpful book marks!), colored images to pair with new site words, materials to make games... the opportunities are endless!

By helping fund this project, you will help me provide the differentiated learning resources that my students need in order to be successful.
